Here are some of our success stories...
This is where we will keep everyone updated on our recent adoptions.  It is always exciting and brightening when a pet has been adopted and has a second chance and a new home and family

Mini

Mini is a baby red eared slider turtle.  He was just recently adopted!  He has a large enclosure to swim in now, a turtle paradise.

Who can resist that guinea pig nose and mouth?  His new Mom and Dad couldn't , they also adopted his brother, Ander.  They make a great pair and now they will never be without each other.

Celeste
Celeste was born here at Life Long Tails.  Her Mom was abandoned outiside with male guinea pigs and was already pregnant. Days later, Little Celeste appeared.  She is now adopted along with her best friend , Rain the female guinea pig
Squirt was brought to us because her owner did not want her anymore.  Such a small young girl, it's sad that she was already given up in her life.  Update 10-13-08- Today was her happy day, she has been adopted, she has a new home and a new Daddy.  She will also make friends with another painted turtle.  She'll have an outdoor pond to swim in during the summer and spring months and an indoor enclosure for the cold months.  We wish her happiness, and love knowing that she now has a loving home where she will be well cared for.

Star

Star is a gorgeous and special guinea pig.  She was abandoned with all those other piggies back in June.  It took her a while to be adopted, but it was well worth her wait.  Adrianne , a fellow animal lover, just adopted her Laughing  She reports that Star loves to watch TV with her and also watch her play video games.  Sounds like Star has a lot of entertainment.
Cory was abandoned behind a business building along with over 50 other guinea pigs back in June 2008.  He was just adopted today , February 12th 2009!Laughing  He has a great new Mom , and he may move in with Buzz and Fuzz the guinea pigs if they make friends with each other.

Gemini and Whisper

Gemini and Whisper arrived here as an unwanted and unplanned litter of babies.  These two sisters developed a vascular infection while they were here.  After antibiotics and TLC they fought off the infection and recovered.  The infection had affected the circulation in their ears and around their necks.  Portions of their ears had blackened and diedCry No worries though, the bad parts fell off and their ears healed.  They may not look perfect, but they are happy and healthy, that is what matters.  Gemini loves to play and run, Whisper loves to cuddle.  They were adopted together on February 12th 2009!  I will miss them dearly, but they now have a great home.  Their new Mom loves them despite their unperfect looks.
